Tyler Page is the Chief Executive Officer of Cipher Mining.

Prior to founding Cipher, Tyler served as Head of Business Development for digital asset infrastructure at Bitfury, where he was responsible for business development and strategic planning work of the Bitfury Group. He brings more than 20 years of experience in institutional finance and fintech, including as a member of the Management Committee and Head of Client Strategies at New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG) from 2017 to 2019, and as Head of Institutional Sales at Stone Ridge Asset Management, from 2016 to 2019. Previously, he served as Global Head of Business Development for Fund Solutions at Guggenheim Partners in New York and London, as well as in various roles on derivatives teams at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. He began his career as an attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

He holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Ed Farrell is the Chief Financial Officer of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher Mining, Ed held several senior positions at AllianceBernstein L.P., including Controller, Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He brings to Cipher Mining more than 35 years of financial administration and leadership experience in the financial services industry, including at Nomura Securities International and Salomon Brothers. Ed started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Arbor Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT where he is a member of both their Audit and Corporate Governance Committees.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.

Will Iwaschuk is the Co-President & Chief Legal Officer of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Will was a partner at Tower Research Capital, where he was the global General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and a member of the Board and the Management Committee. He brings 20 years of broad financial services experience, including as a partner at Morgan Lewis & Bockius, and as a member of the legal department at Goldman Sachs. He began his career as an equity derivatives lawyer at Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Will received a B.A. and an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia. He serves on the board of directors of Futures and Options, a non-profit providing career counseling and internships to New York City youth.

 

Patrick Kelly is the Co-President & Chief Operating Officer of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Patrick was Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Stone Ridge Asset Management where he oversaw operations, technology, and accounting, and was Treasurer and Principal Financial Officer for the Stone Ridge Trusts. Patrick was also a member of Atalaya Capital Management’s Advisory board where he was managing the build-out of Funding Path, a proprietary technology for facilitating complex B2B payments. He started his career at Citadel and has held leadership roles at Magnetar Capital and D.E. Shaw & Co.

Patrick is a CFA Charterholder and is a graduate of DePaul University.

Samy serves as Head of Power at Cipher Mining where he oversees the sourcing, negotiation and portfolio management of power procurement agreements and relationships.

Prior to joining Cipher, Samy helped the Bitfury Group secure several hundreds of megawatts dedicated to bitcoin mining, while actively managing Bitfury’s power contracts and counterparties.

Before Bitfury, Samy worked for the corporate venture capital arm of Total S.A, as well as in the mergers and acquisitions department of SunPower Inc., where he led several investments in the areas of smart-grids, energy storage, distributed energy resources and mobility. He has held several board member positions at software startups such as AutoGrid, Cosmo Tech and Sunverge.

Brittney Dougal serves as the Office Manager at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for The Princeton Group. Previously, Brittney was a Flight Attendant for United Airlines.

Chris Totin is the Chief Construction Officer of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Chris executed over $20 billion in projects globally across multiple sectors including aerospace, defense, transportation, heavy civil and infrastructure, chemical, power, advanced manufacturing, and information technology. More recently, Chris safely delivered multiple hyperscale data centers totaling over 300 megawatts. Chris has held leadership roles as a General Contractor, Construction Manager, Program Manager, and Owner's Representative in addition to administering Lump Sum, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery contracts.

Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Construction Management from the University of Texas.

Jeff Regalario is the Controller of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Jeff was an Audit Manager at Friedman LLP, with a focus on financial services companies in the digital currency space, including asset management, broker-dealers, crypto hedge funds and crypto exchanges.   He brings over 10 years of public accounting experience from several mid-size to large firms, including Marcum, KPMG and CohnReznick. 

Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (Licensed in California).

Courtney Frazier is the Head of Corporate Operations of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Courtney worked for the merchanting group of Orion Resource Partners where she provided logistical support for various mining and metals-focused offtake agreements, and financial operations for related hedging transactions. With 13 years of experience in the commodities space, she comes to Cipher with a wealth of expertise, cultivated through her roles at renowned institutions such as Glencore PLC and JP Morgan Chase. She began her career specializing in the marketing and transportation of residual fuel oil.

Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Samford University.

 

Bryan Keller is the Chief Technology Officer of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Bryan held technology leadership roles at Point72 Asset Management and SAC Capital where he was most recently responsible for middle office, operations, market data, and streaming analytics.   Prior to Point72, Bryan was Head of Data for MD Sass.

Bryan is a CFA Charterholder, received his BA from Vassar College and his MFA from Yale University.

Lee Rivers is the Director of Data Center Field Operations of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher Mining, Lee managed the offsite product commissioning for Google Data Centers globally, focusing on the development and execution of the quality and commissioning test plans and procedures. During his time at Google, Lee led the construction and commissioning process from an operations perspective at one of Google's largest data center sites totaling over 500 megawatts of infrastructure. Lee contributed to the creation of multiple data center operational maintenance programs during his tenure. Lee is also a certified high voltage lineman specializing in substation and distribution maintenance and field installations. 

Olivia Stennett is the Chief Administrative Officer at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Olivia was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in their Equity Prime Brokerage Group.  She brings to Cipher Mining more than 25 years of investment banking experience working with a wide range of institutional clients, with a focus on the onboarding process for start-up hedge fund managers from inception to launch.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, Olivia held several leadership roles at Deutsche Bank’s Global Prime Finance group, leveraging significant Legal, Credit, Documentation and Operations experience to drive client solutions and enhance operational efficiencies.  Olivia began her career at Lehman Brothers in the Swaps and Financial Products group.

Olivia received a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Iona College.

Roger Rarick is the Head of Information Security at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Roger was in Global Cyber Security Systems at Fiserv where he oversaw Vulnerability Management, Data Analysis, Risk Mitigation and Security Compliance efforts. He brings a longstanding career in Information Technology leadership roles in Fintech, Aerospace, Mining (Minerals), Data Storage and Consulting. Roger has led Global IT departments and delivered numerous Information Technology initiatives and Strategic direction in both large global organizations and small niche companies. Roger also had a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force in Aviation and Technology. 

Roger received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology and a Master of Business Administration in Management from Concordia College.

Sean Kristjansson serves as the Head of Data Science at Cipher Mining where he oversees planning and execution of data science strategy, products, and projects.

Prior to joining Cipher, Sean led Data Science teams that developed and deployed first-in-industry machine learning applications in several sectors including Oil and Gas, Biometrics (Departments of Defense) and biomedicine. He began his career in academics at the Washington University in Saint Louis School of Medicine, where he completed post-doctoral training in Statistical Methods in Addiction Genetics and held a faculty position in the Department of Psychiatry.

Sean received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, a Master of Science degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from the University of Utah.

John Henson serves as a Senior Data Engineer at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, John spent nearly a decade in the Oil and Gas industry as a Petroleum Engineer working the Permian Basin, Bakken, and DJ Basin. As an engineer, he was responsible for equipment installation and maintenance, program economics, and OpEx management. In 2020, John began implementing algorithmic based automation for Oil and Gas equipment resulting in substantial financial savings. Just before joining Cipher, John was an IoT Data Architect at Amazon Web Services.

John received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech and a Master’s in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University.

Reuben Govender is the Head of Markets at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Reuben was a Managing Director at Scotiabank where he spent 10 years building and managing various Commodity and FX Trading businesses. Before Scotiabank, Reuben ran large Energy trading books at RBC Capital, Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers after starting his career as a quantitative technologist at Goldman Sachs.

Reuben received a B.A.I in Engineering and a B.A. in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin and an M.B.A. (Quant Finance) from the Stern School of Business at N.Y.U.

Adam Price is a Senior Manager of Data Center Field Operations at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Adam spent over 14 years at Google, Inc. and helped build the operations team at one of its largest sites in the world, totaling over 500 MW.  He has held leadership positions in several key areas around operations, leading the efforts on control room monitoring and alarming.  During his tenure with Google, Adam focused heavily on critical plant operations, SCADA system design, development and maintenance, alarming philosophy and integration, and automation of many facets of data center operations. Most recently, Adam was responsible for program management and technical operation of robotic automation system deployments and integration at multiple data centers around the globe.  Adam also served in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Electrician.

Matthew Lathrop is a Senior Manager of Data Center Controls and Automation at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Matthew worked at both Meta, Inc. and Google, Inc. with a focus on controls and automation.  Matthew was instrumental in the roll out and implementation of the alarming philosophy for Google Data Centers across North and South America.  Matthew also served in the U.S. Navy as a DOE certified Submarine Nuclear Propulsion Plant Operator.

Matthew received Bachelor level training in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Radiological and Metallurgical Sciences (Naval Nuclear Program).

Timothy DuBois is a Senior Manager of Data Center Field Operations at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Tim spent 9 years at Google, Inc. in Data Center Operations, with the last 3 years focused on Operational reliability audits of Google Cloud’s third-party datacenter partners in North and South America.  Tim brings vast knowledge and experience of operational “best practices” and practical implementation from the Hyperscale industry.  Tim also served in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Electrician.

Tim received an Associates in Applied Sciences from Excelsior College.

Daniel Cho is a Corporate Strategy and Development Associate at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Daniel was an investment banking analyst at Piper Sandler, specializing in debt, equity, and M&A linked transactions within the consumer space. 
 
Daniel received a B.A. in Economics with Honors from the University of Chicago.  

Josh Kane is the Head of Investor Relations at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Josh was a Vice President at New Fortress Energy, overseeing investor strategy and communications.  He brings 25 years of financial markets experience in investor relations, institutional research sales, and marketing, both in New York City and San Francisco.  Prior to New Fortress Energy, Josh held senior sales and marketing roles at investment banks and private funds, including Deutsche Bank, Citibank, and GSC Group.  He began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he spent nearly a decade in institutional research sales, working in New York City, San Francisco, and Sao Paulo.  Josh received his M.A. in International Business from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, and his BA from Tulane University.

Lucas Wynn is the Senior Manager of Hardware Field Operations at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Lucas spent over 9 years at Google, Inc. in Data Center Operations, with 4 years focused on improving the deployment of racks, machines, and liquid-cooled rack distribution systems.  He has held leadership positions in both Data Center Operations and New Product Introduction helping to develop and deploy one of the world's most powerful liquid-cooled supercomputers.  Lucas was instrumental in streamlining the deployment processes globally and improving the on-time delivery to customers.  Lucas has received 2 feats of engineering awards and technical impact awards for his contributions at Google.  Prior to Google, Lucas also served 12 years in the U.S. Navy as a DOE certified Submarine Nuclear Propulsion Plant Supervisor, Instructor, and Diver.

Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior College.

John Franceski is the Director of Finance of Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, John was Controller of New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG), where he oversaw finance and accounting. He brings to Cipher Mining more than 15 years of financial services and fintech experience. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and held various roles at Stone Ridge Asset Management, Eton Park Capital Management, and Moore Capital Management.

John received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton and is a Certified Public Accountant (Licensed in New York).

Beth Palkovic is Corporate Counsel at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Beth was an associate in the capital markets groups at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

Beth received a B.A. from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. 

Richard Carter Jr. is a Senior Accountant at Cipher Mining with a passion for all things accounting and blockchain.

Prior to joining the team, Richard led finance and accounting operations at a wealth-tech startup under Digital Currency Group. There, he was responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, budget development and implementation, forecasting, and modeling. Before his time in the startup world, Richard worked as a staff accountant for Mutual of America, performing cash and NAV reconciliations.

Richard received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Haven.

Adam Ziskind is Vice President of Technology at Cipher Mining.

With over 20 years of experience in technology leadership positions at top financial firms, Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Cipher Mining team. Prior to joining Cipher, Adam was a Managing Director at alternative investment firm Värde Partners where as Head of Software Engineering he led the strategic modernization and cloud migration of the firm’s application platform. Before Värde, Adam held positions at Millennium Partners, Point72 Asset Management, SAC Capital, and UBS. Throughout his career, Adam has led the architecture, design, and development of many trading, treasury, compliance accounting, operations, and market data solutions.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and a certificate in C++ programming from Columbia University.
Tyler Baugh is a Corporate Operations Associate at Cipher Mining. 

Before joining Cipher, Tyler played a pivotal role in managing crypto operations at 24 Exchange. Prior to that, he garnered valuable experience as a member of the operations team at BlockFi, contributing to the development of the Institutional Operations department. Tyler began his career as a financial analyst at JP Morgan Chase.

As part of the Data Science team, Rio supports model-building, testing, and optimization efforts, as well as the development and continuous integration/deployment of Cipher’s machine learning operations infrastructure.

Prior to joining Cipher, Rio worked in several data scientist/machine learning engineer roles where he was responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure used to deploy and monitor machine learning models in production.

Rio received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Gavin brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished career to the table, having spent years excelling in the management of offsite product commissioning for Google Data Centers on a global scale. His primary area of expertise lies in the meticulous oversight of the development and execution of comprehensive quality assurance and commissioning test plans and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Before joining Google, Gavin accrued two decades of invaluable experience as an electrician, operating in diverse environments, including steel mills, commercial buildings, and data centers. Additionally, he dedicated eight years to the Marine Corps, serving with honor in Operation Iraqi Freedom, a testament to his commitment to excellence and disciplined leadership.

Alex is a Treasury and Power Analyst at Cipher Mining.

As an analyst, Alex is responsible for supporting both the quantitative and commercial initiatives with respect to both Treasury Management and Power Markets. In addition to his commercial responsibilities, Alex is also responsible for partnering with the Data Science and Technology teams to advance Cipher’s model-building and development efforts.

Alex graduated from Baruch College in New York with a B.S. in Financial Mathematics. 

Ryan Warshavsky holds an SEC Reporting managerial position at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Ryan was the Financial Reporting Manager at Virtu Financial. Ryan began his career at Ernst &Young in their financial services audit practice.

Ryan received a Bachelor of Science dual degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maryland College Park and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York.

Cody Tomblin is a Network Architect at Cipher Mining.

Prior to joining Cipher, Cody worked at Google, Inc. where he led global scale network planning and design teams. Cody played a key role in driving efficiencies and automation into Google's networking across data centers, central offices, and trans-oceanic networks. Cody also served in the U.S. Navy as both a Radioman and Information Systems Technician managing shipboard networks and external network connectivity.

Cody studied BSB/IS at the University of Phoenix and attained industry certifications including CCNA and CCNP, with a strong focus on optical networking throughout his career. 

Nicholas Snowden, a Senior Network Engineer at Cipher Mining, draws on a wealth of experience cultivated over a 15-year tenure at Google, Inc. During his time, he successfully managed the Global Optical Design team, specializing in data center interconnect and cloud layer-1 networks. His expertise extends to optimizing in-house design tools. Prior roles at Google include Senior Network Design Engineer and Network Implementation Engineer.

Prior to Google, Nicholas held roles at Spirit Telecom and ITC Deltacom, overseeing network operations and fiber optic network construction. His professional journey commenced in the United States Navy, where he attained the rank of Operations Specialist 2nd Class. Nicholas's career underscores a diverse background in network engineering, strategic leadership, and hands-on infrastructure management. 

Ty Lenhart is a Corporate Strategy and Development Analyst at Cipher Mining.

As an analyst, Tyler is responsible for supporting the comprehensive analysis and decision-making processes across the company to facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives.

Tyler received a Masters of Management Studies from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.A. from Columbia University.
